A frantic night of transfer window activity for Celtic has left them in limbo over their attempts to sign Manchester City striker John Guidetti after his paperwork was filed late. (Various)

 

Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell will appeal to Uefa on Tuesday in a bid to have Guidetti's transfer rubber-stamped. (Daily Record

 

 

 

 

Only a fortnight ago they wanted EUFA to apply the rules to the letter.

Not sure if you're being rhetorical but the tim title came from a catholic gang in the east end of Glasgow called the Timalloy.

This. I backed them because of Legia's mistake. Likewise this is Celtic's mistake, they should take the consequence.

What's the point of having a deadline if clubs can't stick to it. The appeal should be thrown out without hesitation.
