Uiterloo joined Utrecht from the Ajax academy in the summer of 2008. He made his professional debut in the 2008?09 season opener against PSV (1?5 defeat); he scored the only Utrecht goal. Uiterloo left in July 2009 FC Utrecht and joined on loan to FC Omniworld.[1] He should spend the 2009?10 Eerste Divisie campaign with Omniworld but returned to Utrecht before August 1 because of a meniscus surgery.[2] He joined Baniyas SC in 2010.

Wrong side of the 5-1 for me...

I'm hating "the revival". In the Vlad days we could have expected his signing based on the quality of his name (which is fantastic) or his hair. Now we need to think about insignificant things like how good they are at football, what kind if character they have and what experience the bring to the youngsters.

Uiterloo in, mad budge oot.

Gary Oliver has featured the most in pre-season and has done well, we have carrick, keatings and Sofi and we could possibly add Sow as well, do we need another striker on top of all that?

Was at the game today, no way is he 5'11 as the websites are claiming. More like 6'3.

His name is Uiterloo? Christ, it'll be hard to get a snappy pop song to fit to his name should we sign him.

'Uiterloo - Hibs were defeated, we won the cup,

Uiterloo - Played against Stenny, so we signed him up

Uiterloo - etc, etc.'

Quick google search suggests he was on an 'internship' at Atletico Madrid and Twente, presumably that means a trial

I am guessing bearing in mind they are similar in stature that we will assess this fella and Sow and sign the preferred option.

Well ^ I guess he can run.

Played in a semi pro league in Holland, which probably equates to our League 1.

I don't think he'll get a contract.

?5 Bet says he won't.

He had a few decent touches today and got himself in useful positions. Definitely worth another look.

I think we might sign both and Buaben, he looks very good from that clip. Fits in very well with Neilson's tactics and keeping the ball on the deck

I guess if he can play in midfield roles as otherwise we are quite heavily stocked for those front 3 positions

Full back is not a priority as they consider that position can be covered from within the squad. My mate was at the Stenny game today and he was far from impressed with the trialist.

Gut feeling says that this lad will be the new David Wittenveen.

He's coming from semi pro football and looks like a big lumbering unit.

Not sure how he will cope with the fitness demand required

Wilson,McGhee, Beith first then Henderson, Gordon, Smith are all capable of deputising if required

So no other natural left back at the club?

We've spent years with makeshift leftbacks behind our first choice one.

Can't be too much to ask for an experienced left back.

Just to throw it in there, what would happen to McHattie's development if that were to be the case?!

If we had someone like Naysmith as a back up, I could only see it being a benefit.

Still no sign of a left back then?

I think the fact that they don't want to stifle mchatties development and that Wilson can cover there means a left back not a priority

Jeez, we can't have a player for every position and left back is covered.

There is a bit versatility in the squad and especially at the back. Wilson can play LB if needed and McGhee has covered both full back areas in the past.

You need experience in defence, we have very little. The 2 obvious CB are not that old. Very disappointed we have not signed a leader in defence
