So for example if Butcher gets emptied today, those of us who have predicted he will still be their manager cannot now change that answer, neither can people who have suggested that we will sign McGovern change that now that he?s signed for Hamilton, or if Messi gets injured in training today/tomorrow those who have already predicted he?ll be top scorer cannot change that. As others have indicated earlier in the thread, a later entry allows you to take account of current circumstances, in a way that an earlier entry does not. The rule was never intended to be restrictive or not to allow you to correct obvious errors, for example where you have selected 4 players when the question asks for 3. Hope you see where we?re coming from. I have spoken with Ulysess re this rule. We both agree the need for flexibility here and it?s unlikely that we would ever void an entry amended simply to correct an error ? but no going back to amend your entries in light of current events please!!! So????. The deadline for entries is fast approaching. Please if you are thinking of entering, do so soon; and remember to actually post your entry, either on this thread, or to me by PM, no later than midnight tomorrow ? (Wednesday, June 11th). As others have indicated earlier in the thread, a later entry allows you to take account of current circumstances, in a way that an earlier entry does not. The rule was never intended to be restrictive or not to allow you to correct obvious errors, for example where you have selected 4 players when the question asks for 3. Hope you see where we?re coming from. I have spoken with Ulysess re this rule. We both agree the need for flexibility here and it?s unlikely that we would ever void an entry amended simply to correct an error ? but no going back to amend your entries in light of current events please!!!
