Im finding it hard to fathom his miraculous recent recovery from what I thought may of been a career threatening injury . Seemed not long ago when we were all debating whether he would play again, but now he is training with rangers and may even be a trialist today. Wish we still had him

It's a lot easier to play 3 levels of football below your capability - he doesn't need to be as fit as he would to play in the SPL.

We need to get over him, he's a busted flush.

He's said himself the 3rd division might take less toll on his body.

Playing in division three means he won't have to train at the same level of an SPL player and will probably nurse a couple of seasons and a decent wage out of it.

Can't say I'm that upset that he is away to be honest - spent force at SPL level.

The Kyle loving is tedious.

He was average to decent at best.

Those that use the word "legend" when referring to him

Makes sense.

He was a great contributor to a side who were on a great run.

I think he is referred to as a legend in the same style as Wayne Foster is.

A guy who has spunked most of the money he has made in football on the gee gees as well, can't grudge him it tbh. It was that or retire, I would guess.

A few grand a week for playing at an easy level and not having to train more than a couple of times a week...you would bite their hands off.

Average?   :yucky:

A leader on the park. He wasn`t just a head to flick on, he could hold it up and play in the midfield. For a big lad who deceivingly looked heavy, he could get around the park and worked his arse off.

His style and attitude can sometimes be underestimated because some fans think every player can or should be able to play skilful football. It takes character and balls to play the way he did.

He kept it simple, held it up and laid it off, but even that isn`t easy either when yer being closed down at all angles.

I'd have him back here on a 'pay as you play' deal!

Can still offer something we don't have at the minute.

If you saw him at Dunfermilne it was clear to see he has a lot if work to do to get in condition to play at any level never mind back to the player he was with us .
Seems a good honest lad , unlike Black or Shields i don't have a problem with him going to the Orcs if that's where he ends up . He has tried to find a club at a higher level they none seem to be willing to take a risk on him which leaves him with maybe just the Orcs .

I think we've had so few decent centre forwards in recent years that any we get are talked about.

I think his leadership on the park will be missed the most and is the reason he was popular with fans.

I like how he shouted at folk when they weren't pulling their weight. Need more players like that.
