That will explain Black's position too.
I'm not really sure the Greene business case stacks up.

I don't like him one little bit though and I don't think he'd want to play for us anyway.
I can see him joining Rangers if they manage to get into the SFL and sign Black, Beattie etc.

I think this more and more each day.
Most of these players rumoured to be signing for Rangers haven't actually signed yet and I'd be surprised if they all do. Whhy on earth do they need an entire SPL team of players to get promotion from the 3rd and 2nd divisions? They'll need to start ramping up a bit more when they get to the 1st but until then their youth players plus a few experienced heads should be more than enough.
Why go to all the trouble of righting the stricken ship only to destroy it all again throwing away money on wages you don't need to pay?

Had an ok season last year but even if he had a personality transplant I wouldn't want him.

Moan about it for a few weeks until he turns out to be good and then support and back the player with the reason given that if King Vladimir thinks he is good enough for the club then so do I/we.
Sheils would be a terrific option if Rudi doesn't re sign. Cock or not.

Are they really that desperate to win one of the Cup competitions in a lower league they are offering way more than they need to.
Gretna got through the leagues very quickly with players on c £1-2k a week.
Remember when Clydebank went down the route of Henry Smith, Derek Ferguson, Brian Hamilton. guys at ass end of career happy to accept decent but not great dough.
Now whatever happened to Gretna and Clydebank?

I don't agree. Just as ineffective as the last playmaker we signed from Kilmarnock (before the fun guys jump in, I don't mean Hamill) and would add little more than depth to our squad.
That said, I completely agree with your last two lines.
