Here's one to start with. It was on TalkSport last night and had us scratching our heads in the pub last night for a couple of hours...
Which player touched the ball more than any other in the EPL last year? (Clue given was that his first and second names rhyme)
No googlin allowed!

Never knew Rivaldo was still playing beyond the end of the season. Incredible
This Duric **** can bolt though - I see he scored 150 odd goals in 120 odd games for Singapore Armed Services?

Although the EC is obviously way more prestigious than winning a league title, I still think the latter was much the greater achievement on Forest's part. The old style European Cup only had a handful of clubs who could win it in any given season - the old style First Division was tougher, especially for smaller clubs with smaller squads.

Name the two players who: (i) play/played for both Hearts and Scotland; (ii) have/had a son who has won representative honours at football for a country other than Scotland.
Who is the oldest player to be stripped for a Hearts first team match?
Name the teams to have played in European Cup Final without ever having won the European Cup.
Name the Scottish club against which Hearts were drawn to play in Europe.
Name the cities that have had two or more clubs to have reached the semi-final of the European Cup / Champions' League.

1. Reims, Panthinaikos, Sampdoria, Roma, Arsenal, Leverkusen, Monaco, Bruges, Malmo, Moenchengladbach, Leeds, Atletico Madrid (I think)... not sure about the others? Oooh, did Sporting Lisbon ever make an EC final?
2. London, Glasgow (if you count Rangers 92/3 as semi-finalists), Madrid, Dundee (I think?), Milan, Lisbon, Belgrade (maybe?), Bucharest (ditto), Munich (possibly?)... God I'm hopeless.

Not a bad effort, but think about it and come back. Five missing from the first list.
London, Glasgow (Rangers semi-finalists in 1959-60), Madrid, Dundee is correct, Belgrade, Milan. I don't think Lisbon or Bucharest.

Valencia's another for the first one: terrible that I forgot them!
Trying to remember who PSV beat in the '88 final...

jim bett and his son Calum for one
Dundee and Dundee united reached the semi finals.
I think Dunfermline were drawn against Real Saragozza before we lost a play a play off.
Malmo and Panathinikos reached the final without winning me thinks.
John Cumming Strpped a few times after he officially retired so might have been oldest.

Caniggia is incorrect.
Jim Bett is correct. Also another son. Both played for Iceland at a youth level.
Dundee is correct.
Dunfermline is the Scottish club.
I'll have to check John Cumming but I don't think that's right.

HTF did you forget Eintracht Frankfurt Lawson? They only played in the most famous European Cup Final in history.
