Are they really all that bad?

CT excluded of course, he's just great.

The standard of officiating so far at the Euros has been murder.

Is it really better anywhere else?

They are either allcrap, or modern day players just cheat so much, it's a thankless task.

That said, after Howard Webb's performance in the last WC final how he is at this tournament beggars belief.

That was an absolute cracker of a refereeing howler. Plus the Thistle player catches it with his hands when it comes back out and hands it to the keeper. You just have to wonder what the referee  thought he saw/was going through his head. Add to that, why didn't his  assistant say anything?!

Cos Les Mottram was a pompous erse who only wanted his linesmen to look for OS or throw ins.
