The expensive ST's at Tynie aren't a kick in the arse off their lower priced options.

I assume that cup tickets and the like are not included? If they are, then its even more decent that at first glance.

Aye, £200 more to see some top teams in a great ground with great fans. Not exactly mediocre as well, reckon you've got a better xhance of seeing Everton get one over the big sides than us against the OF.

I agree , we pay £300+ to see Dunfermline twice, Killie twice, caley thistle twice etc when you look at it like that its not great value for money

Brighton season tickets are like gold dust down here though, as it's the only team for miles around but they are set to add seats to the ground for next season to make it 30,000 seater and they have pledged to keep season tickets the same price for next season even if they get a play off place and make it into the EPl!!!!

Everton is a bargain considering you get a Liverpool derby plus Man U, Man C, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs etc. It probably includes FA Cup ties as well.

If anything it makes our prices look embarrassing. Which they are.
Only seen one team worth a sook this season and that wasn't even included in the ST.

How easy is it to get tickets for a big(ish) game?

I've already had this argument today, somewhere else but hearts prices are quite good.
A adult season ticket works out at £15.78 a game
While a OAP/FTE/under18 is £7.89 a game! Some people need to get a grip

I've got a grip, friend.
If I was being brutally honest I've enjoyed 2, maybe 3, games this season. The skill level is abysmal and the entertainment level even worse. Last two games I've left in the 65th minute and the 83rd (or something) minute.
It sounds fine saying 15 quid a game but that's before you factor in food/pint/bet/travel/away games/cup games

i wasn't trying to patronise you, was just stating the point that as a club i think we have reasonable pricing.
I personally enjoy last season much more than this one, but why should how the club is performing have to do with the ticket price?
As for the other factors that is the same for everyone the overall cost of football, but even look at how much you spend going to the movies these days.
People will always have a excuse of why they don't go, prices, quality, atmosphere etc but most of these things all come down to the money the club brings in from ticket sales. More season tickets mean more money for players, so better quality on the pitch.
I'm just sick of people always have a pop at the club about the price of tickets to support what is suppose to be our club that is dangerous close of going under!

Earlier on Twitter I wasn't having a pop at the club for prices, its the nature of the game in this country. In general Scottish football is wildly overpriced. A season ticket would do me no good due to work so I pay walk up prices when I go.
I liked your idea of a membership but I don't think we have the demand for something like that.

The movie example always gets used in this discussion but you are paying 8 or 9 quid to watch the best actors on the planet. We are paying £15 on average to watch Jamie Hammill struggle to cross a baw.
You say why should how the club is performing have an effect on ticket prices, would you have that attitude with ANY other business?
Having a pop at the club on here makes no difference to anything tbh. Out of blind loyalty I'll buy a ST but it won't stop me saying the prices are a joke.

Yep.
Although, it's genuinely getting to the stage where I'm beginning to seriously question this blind loyalty.
Get so little enjoyment out of a trip to Tynie these days its unreal. Get back from the game and the bird asks "How was it?", token answer "Pish."
"Why do you go then?"
Errrr...
Becoming harder to answer.

As for pricing, our crowds suggest they are not far off being right. If we dropped prices by say 20% I doubt very much we'd fill the ground. If we dropped them by more than that (enough to fill the ground), we'd lose revenue.

P-Dizz - if you get in early enough you should get tickets for the top deck for the biggest games. Seen Chelsea, Liverpool and Blackburn (the year they won the league) up there.
Best seat I ever got was in the Park End right next to the Kopites. They singled us out for our saltire with Everton and Hearts badges on it early doors and the Blues fans were loving our sheer hatred for them

Well it's subjective so while you may not feel it isn't worse, I do.

Cheers, I'll remember that. Talked about going to one of the away games like Fulham or Spurs but never got around to it.

Home tickets are usually easy to get. Only time the full boards go up is usually when the kopites or united are at Goodson. It's a proper old fashioned stadium but I love it.
Upper bullens is ok but park end for kopites game is definitely place to go

I'm off to Goodison in a couple of weeks for the FA Cup game with Sunderland.
I'm on a FA Cup trip this season and have fool owed the winning team of each tie I've watched. I started in aug at Borrowash Victoria and have taken in about 8 or 9 different grounds. The league clubs being Bristol Rover, Arsenal, Sunderland and soon to be Everton.
Really looking forward to my visit to Goodison, I'm in the park end and it's £30 a pop. Not too bad a price for the premiership.
Sunderland was £20 and wasn't overly impressed with the stadium. Just the same as pride park, walkers etc with a top tier.
Arsenal however is the mutts nutts. Now that's how to build a stadium.
Oh and back to the op point, everton season prices are more than fair when you consider the product on offer.

I couldn't remember what my platinum seat was for this season, so had to have a look at my email folders. My seat for this season was £445. Haven't been overly impressed and it might seem a little expensive given what is on show, but I enjoy watching HMFC so will pay up again for next season.
